I need help with farming as a Dervish.
I'm a long time Dervish player and am now in need of money in order to fill up my HoM. I'm trying to find effective builds and farming locations as a Dervish so that I can make decent amounts of gold.
I've been all over looking for good spots and maybe a good build to run them with. The problem is, none of them work with the new Dervish update. I've been trying to make a Dervish build to raptor farm solo but I can't find anything capable of killing the Broodmother. I'd like to keep to my Dervish but was strongly thinking of rolling a new character to farm raptors.
So I ask, where is the best farming location for a Dervish and the build used to farm it?
I know it's a matter of opinion what the "best" is but I'm looking for the best return of gold for time committed.
Thanks for your replies and time.

How would that compare to raptor farming? Gah, how would I run the SoS spirit spammer build on a derv when losing the bonus from spawning power? It would be nice to get ectos while farming.
This dervish update has me in an unparalleled state of confusion. Any and all help is appreciated.

Im an very oldschool raptor farming, i have gotten over 200 million exp via raptor farming, and thus very much gold.. Id say raptor farm on your derv when the raptors drop more than golds, i.e GW birhtday, easter, etc (to bad gw2 will >HOPEFULLY< come out this year so you are alread missing some, unless you plan to stay)
that will yield the golds, plus w/e drops during that weekend, and if you wait some months, you can sell stacks of x item for alot of more g.
as for SoS, Spawning power doesnt really do that much, and with Shadowsong(used alot to counter Aatxe's) They wount hit you /your spirit anyway.
Check gwpvxwiki.com, youtube for videos, im sure theres a dervish/rit sos vid out there
Dervish Update..
i dont have a dervish, and im not planning on making one either, but atm, dervish are very powerfull in PvE/PvP, so id suggest looking on PvX there aswell, there should be some interesting builds soon.
Any more questions , please pm me

I don't think I'll be able to spirit spam farm uw with my dervish. I tried it, I already had all the skills, but it seems very difficult with the current state of the UW. Where is a moderately difficult farm that a derv could accel at?
I'm gonna give it a few more tries, but it's hard for me to justify the entrance fee when I only make a plat or so before going under.
Lol, maybe I should just run Killroy's over and over for a bit. At the very least I get 2 plat-ish a run and I get some booze for drinking as I run it... huzzah titles. Thoughts?
I'm having trouble finding the gold income rates for any of these runs. People just seem to say "farm uw with sos" or "do raptors". Anyone know how much you make a run and how long a run of these spots takes?
I appreciate any and all replies and the time and effort taken to make them, large or small.

I'm Avison Atrius in-game. Sounds like a plan. :P I'll be on in an hour.
I still can't believe no one has time to value breakdowns for different farms though. But if it works for someonebthen, eh, it should work for me. I just need more gold :P

LOL I made good cash farming Saoshang Trail solo for Mantids right after the update. You could always try raptor farming with a monk bonding you and use mystic regen (old school)

~45-50 seconds per run. You get lot of golds and black dyes.

Well, pretty much any profession can run pretty much any build and farm outside Sunspear Great Hall in HM.
Not super impressive farming, but better than nothing, no?

But where would that get me? They don't really dorp anything useful do they? I think I'd be better of doing Killroy's at that point.
